Five of our KS2 girls proudly represented Stokesay Primary School at a gymnastics competition this week, following months of dedicated practice at gymnastics club.
Since the beginning of the school year, the girls have been training hard to develop their vaulting skills and perform a floor routine, supported and coached by Mrs Anthony, who has worked closely with them in preparation for the event and accompanied them to the competition.
Throughout the day, the girls demonstrated outstanding determination and resilience, performing to the very best of their abilities. They also showed excellent teamwork, continually encouraging one another, cheering each other on and offering support between routines.
All of their commitment and hard work paid off, with the team achieving a fantastic and well-deserved 2nd place overall. We are incredibly proud of their effort, sportsmanship and positive attitude — a brilliant example of our school values in action.
A huge well done to all involved!
