The Proudest Stokesay
Across the school, pupils have been taking part in a whole-school writing task inspired by the book The Proudest Blue. Each class contributed to our new library display, “The Proudest Stokesay”, by writing about moments when they have felt proud.
Our library has come alive with a beautiful new display titled “The Proudest Stokesay”, inspired by the much-loved book The Proudest Blue. As part of this whole-school writing project, pupils from every class reflected on moments in their lives when they have felt truly proud — from mastering new skills to showing kindness, courage, and determination.
Children’s writing now fills the library with colourful, thoughtful and uplifting stories that celebrate who they are and what they’ve achieved. It has been wonderful to see pupils sharing their ideas with such confidence and joy, and the display has quickly become a favourite stop for staff, families, and visitors.
This project has been a fun, creative and heart-warming way for our whole school community to come together and celebrate what makes Stokesay pupils so special.
