Welcome to Stokesay Primary School

Spring 26.

This year’s residential trip was a truly fantastic experience. Over three days at the Pioneer Centre, the children demonstrated outstanding teamwork, resilience, and determination.

Throughout the visit, they embraced a wide range of exciting activities, including high ropes, fencing, abseiling, caving, and an indoor inflatable challenge zone. It was inspiring to see them step outside their comfort zones, support one another, and rise to new challenges with such enthusiasm.

We are incredibly proud of the way every child approached the experience, showing confidence, courage, and a willingness to try something new.

Forest School in Year 6

Year 6 pupils have been enjoying Forest School sessions every Friday afternoon with Mr Lockley. These sessions provide a valuable opportunity for children to develop practical skills, build confidence, and work collaboratively in an outdoor environment.

They have been learning new skills such as rope tying and taking part in team-building challenges, including blindfold courses that encourage trust and communication. The sessions also offer moments to relax and connect with nature, with pupils enjoying hot chocolate and marshmallows around the fire.

We are incredibly proud of the children’s efforts and the positive transformation they have made to the allotment. Their hard work has created a meaningful legacy for future pupils to enjoy.

The Boys in the class enjoyed a fishing day out in Froggatts pool in Ludlow. All boys who went managed to catch a fish, although even though they tried the carp evaded them.

A great way to spend the last day of term.
