The children enjoyed their Tudor topic day on Monday 13th January. To start the day children explored Tudor diets and researched the differences in a rich persons diet compared to a poor persons diet. They then got to make their own Manchet bread, which they had to knead and let rise.
After learning about crime and punishment in the Tudor times, the children attended a Tudor courtroom and they had to serve the right justice for the crime.
In the afternoon, we painted some Tudor portraits and participated in a traditional Tudor dance. To end the day we ate our hot bread and butter.
