Year 4 and 5 enjoyed a successful trip to Ludlow Castle as they explored the topic of settlements in our Geography topic this term.
The children had a great time learning about the Castle and its history and enjoyed exploring the different parts of the castle. The view from the top was incredible and no one got left behind in the dungeons.
The children were brilliantly behaved so there was even time to enjoy a little ice cream at the end.
The children had a fantastic day and expanded their knowledge as a result.
In Year 4 and 5 we have been learning all about pneumatic systems in our D&T.
The children have designed and made their own pneumatic toys according to a brief that they were given.
There were some fantastic designs and lots of trial and error to perfect the ideal pneumatic system needed to allow the toy to work.
