Welcome to Stokesay Primary School

As Year 4 and 5 explore the "States of Matter" in our science, we have been investigating how solids change to a liquid.

The children have been looking scientifically at the differences the temperature makes to the rate of melting.

Everyone was able to make careful observations and collect data as the ice melted in different temperatures of water.

We have been learning about Netball in PE this term and the children have been putting their learning to the test as they apply their knowledge and skills in matches against each other.

They have demonstrated lots of the school values by showing teamwork and determination as they try to win their games against each other.

Our term started with an exhilarating trip to the dry ski slope, where we not only learned the basics of skiing but also discovered exhilarating thrills of tubing. This gave us a great insight to life in the Alps allowing us to draw on our experiences to assist our writing as well as showing determination when trying something new.

In design and technology, creativity soared as students took on the challenge of building pavilion structures. This project helped them develop their engineering and design skills, fostering teamwork and innovative thinking.
