Today, year two walked into a messy classroom to find out somebody had been in our classroom over the weekend! They carefully investigated the clues and asked questions to try and determine the culprit.
After much consideration and sharing of their findings, they decided that it was Fizzbee, the alien out of their classroom over book: "An alien in the jam factory!"
Later in the week they wrote a newspaper report all about this alien’s visit to Stokesay Primary School

Year 2 recently enjoyed an inspiring trip to Shrewsbury Castle, where they took part in a magical storytelling adventure to explore the castle’s rich history.
Using their imaginations and language skills, the children brought the past to life through words. A highlight of the day was climbing to the top of Laura’s Tower, where they took in stunning views and reflected on the stories hidden within the castle walls.
It was a fantastic day of learning, creativity and discovery! The guide from the castle remarked upon the amazing knowledge that the Year 2 pupils displayed during the trip.
