This half term the topic we are looking at in Reception is Plants. We have been learning about the names for each part of a plant and what a plant needs to live. The children have each planted themselves a sunflower and as a class we have planted cress, marigolds, potatoes, carrots and nasturtiums. Each day, one of the children take on the responsibility of watering our plants. We are thoroughly enjoying our topic so far and cannot wait to watch our plants grow!
