Welcome to Stokesay Primary School

Autumn 25.

Topic Day!

To introduce our topic 'All About Me' the children came to Nursery dressed as what they would like to be when they are older. We had police officers, fire officers and even a unicorn! The children all looked fantastic. During this topic we have lots of exciting things planned such as visiting the fire station and exploring our local area.

As part of our topic 'People Who Help us', the children in Nursery and Reception had an amazing time visiting the local fire station! We met firefighters Zoe, Kev and Alec. The children were all well behaved and got the chance to try on their uniforms, have a go at using the water hose and got the chance to sit in the fire engine!

This term the children in Nursery have been showing lots of our school values such as determination, teamwork, respect and community. The children visited St Andrew’s church where we retold the Christmas story.  The children also worked hard to practise and complete their Nativity, showing great confidence and teamwork. To finish the term, they took part in a range of Christmas crafts, using their creativity and fine motor skills to make festive decorations, cards and calendars.
