Money in School

Children should not bring money into school except for the following reasons:

Lunch money – this should be brought to school and put directly into the dinner money pot, which is labelled with your child’s name.

It will be taken to the kitchen after registration and kept there safely until lunchtime. If children forget their money, they may have a lunch but must bring the money the following

day.

Lunches must be paid for unless:

  1. A)  You are in receipt of free school meals (see office for more information)    OR     B)  Your child is in Reception, Year 1 or Year 2

Money for specific purposes, e.g. visits money, sponsor money - this money should ALWAYS be in a sealed, named envelope.  Large amounts of cash should be taken directly to the School Office by an adult.
